What's the difference between dual agency and designated agency in NH?
P
Great one to nail down! In dual agency, one agent represents both buyer and seller in the same transaction, with written consent from both sides. It's legal in NH but creates a tricky balancing act.
Designated agency is cleaner. The broker assigns two different agents from the same firm, one for the buyer and one for the seller. Each can fully advocate for their client. The broker technically represents both sides, but the agents don't. Think of it as the firm-level version of dual agency with actual individual representation underneath.

"I already learned something I either never knew or long since forgotten! This is a great tool and very cost effective. I would promote this to my students to help prepare for exams."
Most school practice tests recycle the same question bank, so you end up memorizing answers instead of actually learning the material. Passli generates fresh questions every single session, so you're always tested on your understanding, not your memory. It also covers state-specific statutes, math, and exam strategy in ways most school materials don't.
Passli is built around the exact topics, statutes, and question styles that appear on each state's licensing exam. Passli generates exam-style questions, tracks which topics you're weak on, and your personal study coach can explain anything in plain language. Passli works best as a supplement to your required pre-licensing course, not a replacement for it. Use both, and you'll walk in prepared.
No. You can jump in and practice real exam-style questions for free, with no credit card required. When you're ready for unlimited questions, full mock exams, math drills, and the personal study coach, it's just $9/month, and you can cancel anytime.
$9/month, which is less than a single cup of coffee per week. To put it in perspective: retaking the licensing exam costs $67 to $85 in most New England states, plus the lost time and stress of studying again. Most students pass within 1 to 3 months of focused prep. That's $9 to $27 total to avoid a costly retake.
Passli currently covers New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Vermont, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with more states on the way. If yours isn't listed yet, let us know and we'll prioritize it.
Absolutely, and this is one of the best use cases. The Study Topics mode lets you drill specific categories (state law, contracts, agency, math) so you can focus only on what you missed. The study coach can walk through any concept in detail. Many students find it most useful the second time around, when they know exactly where their gaps are.
Yes. Passli has a study focus toggle built right into the app. Set it to "National Only" or "State Only" and every quiz, mock exam, and study topic will match that portion exclusively. It's designed for exactly this situation.
Cancel anytime from inside the app. Click Manage Subscription in the footer. No cancellation fees, no hoops, no gotchas. You can also email us at email us and we'll take care of it immediately.
